MOST VERSATILE MALINOIS AWARD

1. Membership in the ABMC is not required.
2. 
   Dogs must participate and earn points (i.e. qualify) in at least four (4) of the following six (6) venues: agility, conformation, herding, obedience, rally, and/or tracking.
3. 
   Check the box on any entry form to sign up.
4. 
   The Show/Trial Secretary will track results & points for each dog entered and will post standings daily.
5. 
   The winner will be the dog earning the most points. In the event of a tie, each dog's scores of all qualifying performances from each venue will be added into its point total.
6. 
   The dog with the highest combined total score will be awarded Most Versatile Belgian Malinois 2010.
7. 
   Dogs must be signed up to compete for the Versatility Award.
8. 
   The winner will be announced at the Banquet and will receive:
   
   
   1. large black & gold rosette
   2. Malinois coverlet
   3. European-style trophy cup
   4. & bouquet
   
   
9. 
   Winner need not be present to win; if winner is not present, awards will be mailed.
10. 
    Points must be earned in at least four (4) venues. The single highest point value earned in each venue will be used in tabulating the final standings.

      Tracking
    • • 4 points: Passing score in Tracking Test
    • 
      Herding
    • • 1 point: Qualifying in HT/PT
      • 2 points: Qualifying Started (sheep or cattle)
      • 3 points: Qualifying Intermediate (sheep or cattle) or winning Started class (sheep or cattle)
      • 4 points: Qualifying Advanced (sheep or cattle) or winning Intermediate class (sheep or cattle)
      • 5 points: Winning Advanced class (sheep or cattle)
      • 6 points: Reserve High in Trial
      • 7 points: High in Trial
    • 
      Agility (Regular Classes)
    • • 2 points: Qualifying score in Novice
      • 3 points: Qualifying score in Open or winning Novice class (A or B)
      • 4 points: Qualifying Excellent (A or B) or winning Open class
      • 5 points: Winning Excellent class (A or B)
      • 6 points: Double Q in any combination of Standard and Jumpers classes at any two levels
      • 7 points: Double Q in Excellent (A or B)
    • 
      Agility (Preferred Classes)
    • • 1 point: Qualifying score in Novice
      • 2 points: Qualifying score in Open or winning Novice class (A or B)
      • 3 points: Qualifying Excellent (A or B) or winning Open class
      • 4 points: Winning Excellent class (A or B)
      • 5 points: Double Q in any combination of Standard and JWW classes at any two levels
      • 6 points: Double Q in Excellent (A or B)

      Obedience
    • • 2 points: Qualifying score in Novice
      • 3 points: Qualifying score in Open or winning Novice class (A or B)
      • 4 points: Qualifying score in Utility or winning Open class (A or B)
      • 5 points: Winning Utility class (A or B)
      • 6 points: Qualifying in Open B and Utility A or B
      • 7 points: High in Trial and/or High Combined
    • 
      Rally
    • • 2 points: Qualifying score in Novice
      • 3 points: Qualifying score in Advanced or winning Novice class (A or B)
      • 4 points: Qualifying score in Excellent or winning Open class (A or B)
      • 5 points: Winning Excellent class (A or B)
    • 
      Conformation
    • • 1 point: Place 4 in Working sweepstakes
      • 2 points: Place 3 in Working sweepstakes
      • 3 points: Place 2 in Working sweepstakes
      • 4 points: Place 1 in Working sweepstakes
      • 5 points: Place Best in Working sweepstakes (unless there is a conflict of interest with Sweepstakes judge, only Working Sweepstakes class placements count. If there is a conflict (judge is breeder of dog), then regular class placement counts)
      • 2 points: Reserve Winners Dog or Bitch
      • 3 points: Winners Dog/Winners Bitch
      • 4 points: Best of Winners
      • 5 points: Award of Merit
      • 6 points: Best Opposite Sex to Best of Breed
      • 7 points: Best of Breed
