![]() 2010 ABMC SpecialtyBelgian Malinois 2010 SpecialtyTuesday May 11, 2010 - Sunday May 16, 2010Sue HaaseSue Haase is our herding judge for the Malinois-only herding trial. She has been active in registered dogs for 32 years, starting with cocker spaniels in 1978. In 1986, Sue got her first Malinois and joined ABMC. Her kennel name is Roulets. In 1988 she became involved with herding. Since then she has bred one DC Malinois and is working on her second home bred DC Malinois. She’s also finished a DC Border Collie. Sue was the first to put an AKC HX on a Malinois. She has several dogs with test titles and a couple of HS dogs. She has 2 AHBA HRD III Malinois and 1 HRD III Border Collie. She has started ASCA cattle titles as well as several ASCA sheep and geese titles. Sue lives on a ranch in Nevada, so her dogs are required to do practical ranch work as well as trial work. Sue became a herding judge in 2004 as an obvious extension of her interest in herding. Outside of herding, Sue is active in conformation and has put agility and obedience titles on her dogs. She was a 4-H leader for 22 years, teaching leather craft, livestock leader for Swine and ran the Happy Heeler 4-H dog club for almost 10 years. She and her husband were also avid horseback riders in the mountains as well as snowmobiling in the Sierra Nevada. She is the mom of one son who was involved with dog training in 4-H and livestock and high school rodeo. |
