My name is Melvin (Mel) Stanley and I
live in Clinton Utah with my wife. I am excited that your nationals are
coming to Farmington Utah, which is practically in my back yard. The
club I belong to uses the Farmington site for its Obedience and Agility
trials and we have been very pleased with this site so I am confident
that you will be well pleased with the site.
I believe that judging the sport of Dog Obedience is a special honor
since I am allowed to watch the special bond that exists between loving
handlers and their dogs. While levels of training vary from dog to dog
and handler to handler, what really counts is the bond that exists
between the dog and the handler. Watching a team that is only conscious
of each other is a very special opportunity.
Good luck and I hope every one has fun and develops fond memories of their 2007 national in Utah.
