|  | | Interested in all facets of dogs and especially the Belgian Sheepdog, Ms
Spalding is a Groenendael breeder under the Mawrmyth kennel name. She has
exhibited in obedience, tracking, herding, temperament testing and has owner
handled in the breed ring since 1972. She has taught conformation handling
classes for almost twenty years. She has also owned and shown a Bearded
Collie and owned, shown and bred a Shetland Sheepdog.

| | | Approved as an AKC judge in 1983, Ms Spalding is currently approved for the
Herding Group, BIS and Junior Showmanship and is proceeding into the Working
Group. Her assignments have included American, Canadian, British and
Australian shows. In June, 2000, she again judged the Belgian Sheepdog Club
Of America National Specialty. She has also judged Nationals for the Belgian
Sheepdog Club of Canada, the American Belgian Tervuren Club and National
Belgian Clubs in England.

| | | Ms Spalding co-edited the Belgian Sheepdog Handbooks, Volumes I, II & III.
She is a past President of The Belgian Sheepdog Club Of America and past
President of Fort Bend Kennel Club, an all breed club, and resides in
Houston, Texas, with her husband, Kenneth. She joined the American Belgian
Malinois Club in 1980.
